The whole product sits on your domain, branded as your practice. Worksheets, case files, kudos, booking, calendar sync. Your data stays in your database from day one.

Why we built this

Most practice tools want to be the place your clients go. We thought that was backwards. Therapists spend years building a brand and a website. The tool should reinforce that, not replace it.

Anonymity by default

By default, every client in your my-cbt portal is identified by an anonymous case number (for example,
P41A913
). No name. No email shown to the case file. Their session times, worksheets, notes, and Kudos all attach to the case number.

Why we made this the default

Anonymity reduces friction. CBT relies on clients writing down thoughts they wouldn’t write down anywhere else, and a name at the top of the page makes that harder. Therapists using my-cbt have reported large jumps in homework completion after switching from named files to anonymous ones.

Business coaching, by a real person

The Coached plan adds a business coach who works with you on the practice itself: positioning, marketing, your booking funnel, your pricing, the parts of running a small therapy practice that nobody trained you for.

What it isn’t

Not AI. There is a real person on the other end.

Not unlimited. The Coached plan covers reasonable usage, in line with running a single therapy practice. It is not a full-time hire.

Not clinical supervision. Your professional supervision is yours to arrange.

What it is

A back-and-forth working relationship. You share your goals (more clients, fewer no-shows, better positioning, a niche) and your constraints (location, budget, hours), and the coach works through the problems with you.

Coaching

Coaching is on

First-party booking on your site

Booking lives on your domain, branded as your practice, plugged directly into your calendar.

How it works

You set your weekly availability. The booking widget appears on your site (we install it). Visitors and existing clients pick a slot. The booking writes to your portal database and pushes to your calendar.

For new visitors

A first-time visitor can book without creating an account. They pick a time, fill in whatever fields you require (name optional, email or phone for confirmation), and the booking is confirmed. The portal account is created automatically when they first log in.

Kudos: a nudge for clients who need one

Kudos is a simple points-based engagement system. Clients earn points for things you decide are worth points: homework on time, a streak of three days, a behavioural test attempted, a daily mood log. They see a running total in their portal.

You decide what counts

Per-client toggles. Per-rule point values. Want to reward homework but not streaks? Turn streaks off. Want a client who responds badly to gamification to never see Kudos at all? Turn it off entirely for that client.

Privacy

Last updated: 2026-05-06

my-cbt provides a CBT practice management portal that we install on your website under your branding. The software is licensed monthly. The data entered into your portal saves to your database, which is yours.

In your database, on your domain. From day one. We do not see it, copy it, analyze it, or use it to train anything. There is no admin login on our side that can read your client records. The architecture itself prevents it.

How it works

When we install your portal, we provision a database that is bound to your domain. Worksheet entries, notes, bookings, and case files write directly to that database. The application code runs on our servers; the data does not.
